At Carbify, our mission goes beyond just helping businesses offset their carbon emissions. We strive to make a positive and lasting impact on the environment and the communities we work with. Here’s a look at the difference we are making together.
Trees Planted
We have planted over 3.5 million trees since our inception. Each tree plays a crucial role in absorbing carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the atmosphere, helping to reduce the overall carbon footprint of your business.
Agroforestry Systems
In 2023, we established 250,000 agroforestry systems, and we plan to add 400,000 more in 2024. These systems combine different types of trees and plants, creating a healthy and sustainable environment that supports both nature and local communities.
CO₂ Absorbed
Each agroforestry system we create absorbs an average of 175 kg of CO₂ every year. This means that our efforts directly contribute to lowering the levels of harmful greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, fighting climate change effectively.
Communities Supported
Our projects benefit over 300 local communities. By planting trees, we help improve food security, create jobs, and provide education and resources. This support empowers communities to thrive while contributing to environmental sustainability.
Biodiversity Increased
By restoring ecosystems, we promote biodiversity and support wildlife. Diverse plant species create a balanced ecosystem that benefits all living things, from plants and animals to the people who rely on them.
Real-Time Impact Tracking
With our secure platform, you can see the impact of your carbon offsetting in real-time. You receive certificates that represent the CO₂ absorbed by the trees you support. These certificates, known as $aCO2 tokens, provide clear proof of your positive environmental contribution without the complexity of technical terms.
Our impact is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. By partnering with Carbify, you are not only reducing your carbon footprint but also supporting communities and enhancing biodiversity. Together, we are making the planet healthier for everyone.
