Creating jobs

By involving local communities in our tree planting and maintenance activities, we have generated sustainable employment opportunities. For every 1,200 agroforestry systems we plant, we create one full-time job. In 2023, with 250,000 trees planted, we have created over 200 full-time jobs. This not only provides steady income for families but also fosters economic growth and stability in the region.

Enhancing food security

Our agroforestry projects are designed to benefit both the environment and the people. By combining trees with crops, we have enhanced food security in the areas where we work. Each year, our agroforestry systems produce around 100,000 kilograms of food, including fruits, nuts, and medicinal plants. This means we are improving access to nutritious food for thousands of people, helping to reduce hunger and improve health.

We understand that education is key to long-term prosperity. That is why we collaborate with local governments, universities, and organizations to promote education and awareness about sustainability. We invest in building schools and providing educational resources, ensuring that children and adults alike have access to learning opportunities. We provide seeds and a yearly maintenance fee to local farmers and community members involved in our projects. This financial support empowers them to continue their work and invest in their future.
