When we plant trees, they start absorbing CO₂. We track this absorption carefully. For every kilogram of CO₂ absorbed, we issue a carbon debit certificate. These certificates are securely recorded, so you can trust their validity.
Benefits Over Traditional Carbon Credits
Our carbon debits have several advantages:
- Transparency: Each certificate is verifiable and traceable.
- Scientific Validation: Experts check the data to ensure accuracy.
- No Double Counting: Secure records prevent any mistakes.
- Immediate Impact: The CO₂ has already been absorbed when you receive the certificate.
Later, for clarity, we refer to these certificates as $aCO2 tokens, but we focus on their role in representing absorbed CO₂.
